I’m going to buy the bolts. I have looked into bolt options and learnt a lot about bolts and inter-metal corrosion. If you screw bolts of one metal into something made of another metal then one will corrode a lot quicker, which would be dreadful if everything collapsed around my ears because I cut corners. Besides the bolts have sort of square heads so they fit into the channels of the greenhouse frame, so I guess this means that only real choice is to buy more bolts and sooner rather than later as I have seedlings that will need a new home soon.

But I didn’t waste time sitting about thinking about bolts, I made my decision while working furiously in the garden. I now have two new soft fruit beds all done and dusted and looking fantastic. So the red and black currants have a lovely new home and a new friend each as well. So all I have to do now is the gooseberries and the blueberries. While at the garden centre – I couldn’t help myself and mysteriously four soft fruit plants climbed into my trolley. Well it would have been rude to kick them back out – especially if they were so desperate to come and live with me. So now I need to provide them and their bedfellows with a high standard of living.

It was a good day and it felt so good to see such a visual outcome. I love days like this.
Come again soon –the days are ticking by and that list won’t do itself!

Well done! Glad to see that those roving soft fruit plants climbed into the trolley of a hospitable shopper. 🙂
Hi Keith. Most plants are happy to end up in my garden, except the citrus. They get scared.

Sarah, so glad to hear that things just climb into your cart, too. Everything looks so lovely, and glad you are getting the bolts. Hope all goes well.
Hi Lucinda. Thanks for you kind words. I really shouldn’t be allowed in garden centres. Things always seem to climb into my cart when I’m not looking.
