June Garden

Garden list for June.

Better late than never.  I have been working on the garden, around the winter weather, playing catch up from our repeated travel absences.  But it comes to a point where it is no longer catch up and is more about strategic planning and prep for the impending growing season.  There is still plenty of catch up to be done, and we’ll get there but a monthly TO DO list will help stay focussed and on track and get stuff done.

I feel like I’m in a good position in the edible garden with it mostly sorted ready for the crop prep and then eventually the plants, but beyond that the rest of the garden still needs love, but I’m determined to get there and make it right in time for the spring.

So, at this point – with my lists in all sorts of places, I’ve brought them all together in one accountable list, hoping public shame will drive me to cross things off.  I will need to be honest about the state of what actually needs to be done.  Some are short and sweet and can get done in 5 minutes and others are a bit of a project and could take weeks – but if broken down into a collection of short tasks – even big projects are doable.  But not everything will get done this month and will become a familiar friend/nemesis on my to do list for months and months – but that is ok and they can sit on the list until I get to them.  (Some are still on the list from last year!)
