Brief: Today (Yesterday actually) is all about straight edges, and tweaking your image to ensure your lines are perfectly positioned.
I have raised beds in my garden because we live in what was once a swamp. There is nothing wrong with our soil, except it can get a little damp from time to time – I’ve seen carrots float away before. So I spied the fences on our property that had been built for containing horses and figured we weren’t likely to have livestock anytime soon and ripped them down and whipped up some raised beds. But filled them with our fabulous rich, fertile soil and grow the most wonderful and delicious veggies all year round, thanks to our mild climate. Without those old fences my garden wouldn’t be what it is today. I love my garden.

Wise and practical use of the old fencing Sarah, and now you are reaping the benefits with your delicious veggies!
The photo is perfect for the theme, I love the angle.
Hi Barb. The thing is now we have pretty much run out of fences that I can use, so I have to think twice before expanding further – not that that will stop me!
Cheers Sarah : o )
Nothing can stop a gardener – you will come up with new ideas for expanding!
