A Currant Affair

The garden has been calling to me persistently like a sea siren to a pirate.   Sometimes the most I can do is to stare longingly back at the garden as it calls to me, as life beyond the garden shouts louder and more aggressively with its demands. But some days I am free to frolic in the depths of its green gloriousness.  Having said that at the moment most of the green is caused by weeds that I need to tackle with the enthusiasm of a swashbuckling pirate.  But I’m getting there and the sea of green is being transformed into a calm ocean of brown rich soil, waiting to to be planted with my precious treasures!

Check out my progress on my regular tour of the garden.

Coming again soon – This is a great time to be a gardener.
