Cyclone Donna. There are no words….
It started raining spits and spots at lunch time yesterday – about 20 hours ago. It isn’t expected to stop until 6pm tonight – so about 8 more hours to go.
It could be worse… sigh.
Come again soon – I was looking forward to this winter, now I need to dig deep to find the joy of gardening again…
Sarah the Gardener : o)
Wow! That is a lot of water.
Yup… but not quite as much as a few weeks ago! : o)
Oh dear, you are getting it rough.
And there’s me moaning we’ve not had rain for 6 weeks here in my bit of the UK. Hope it dries quickly for you.
I’ll happily send you some of my excess water! I think maybe some of it is yours gone astray! : o)
As a fellow gardener I sympathise with your plight. There is nothing like too must rain to stop all your gardening plans in their tracks. Hope the sun shines for you soon.
Thanks so much for your kind words. The storm has blown over as quickly as it came the now I have to wait for things to dry out again. I hope this is the last time we see too much rain in a long time. : o)
Oh dear Sarah .. thankfully my garden being on a hill was spared. The driveway was another story ..
Hi Julie. At this point I am thinking living on a hill is a good idea! I hope this is the last of it, well for a while at least. : o)
We would take a couple of days of that off your hands. It is nasty dry here and the dust is getting into everything including our lungs. Hope you dry off a bit soon.
I would love to send you some, we have more than I need! I hope you get rain soon. : o)
Wow. I hope everything is drying out ok! Nature works in strange ways I guess but it doesn’t make it any easier.
The up side is it coming into winter. If it was coming in to spring or summer I’d be way more upset! : o)
